Beautiful riverside development in Borris’

Borrisokane Tidy Towns have completed a beautiful riverside development in the town. This project compliments the Main Street regeneration scheme for Borrisokane, which makes the town one of the most attractive in the country. Chairman of the Nenagh Municipal District Cllr Michael O Meara visited the site and was highly impressed by the result.

“This site has been transformed by the Borrisokane Tidy Towns Committee, whose Chairman Enda Heenan, Secretary John Egan and committee identified this area with huge potential.

“With the grant under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme it is now a beautiful place for the people of the town and environs to enjoy,” said Cllr O’Meara. “I must also compliment fellow Lorrha man Patrick Hough and Fogarty Plant as the landscape contractors for carrying out the work,” he added.
