Couples will be greeted on arrival with a glass of bubbly before being brought on a tour of the hotel grounds. This event is the perfect opportunity to speak with the hotel’s wedding and events team. Couples on the day will also be given a luxurious goodie bag, which will feature information about local suppliers as well as some lovely surprises and sweet treats.
Killaloe Hotel and Spa is both an intimate and elegant venue located in the picturesque town of Killaloe in east County Clare. Overlooking the glistening waters of the beautiful Kincora Harbour and the majestic Arra Hills, the Killaloe Hotel and Spa is an idyllic location for photos on your big day.

Killaloe Hotel and Spa is steeped in local history. The hotel logo features the iconic sword of Brian Ború and each room is named after prominent members of the Ború Clann. The word ‘Sionna’ is derived from the name ‘Sionainn’, who is a famously known goddess in Irish mythology. Sionainn means ‘Professor of Wisdom’ and comes from the Irish name Abha na tSionainn for the River Shannon. There is no shortage of things to do when staying at Killaloe Hotel and Spa. Activities include boat cruises, canoeing and scenic walks. The hotel is located an approximately five-minute drive from Moylussa, which is the highest point in Clare at a height of 531.6m.
