Hibernian Inn Senior Hurling Championship: It has been a busy week of Senior Hurling action in North Tipperary with the Hibernian Inn sponsored Championship in full flow with both the Quarter Final and Semi Finals taking place. See match reports.

The final between Kilruane MacDonaghs and Kiladangan will take place on Sunday 22nd August at 6.15pm in MacDonagh Park, Nenagh.

This is a repeat of the 2016 & 2018 North Finals. Kiladangan were victorious in the 2016 final 2-18 to 1-17 whilst Kilruane gained revenged in 2018, winning by 0-19 to 0-12.

It’s important to note that this is an all-ticket game with no cash accepted at the gate. Tickets are available through clubs. 2020 Club Match passes will not be accepted. Free entry for Under 16’s.

Savvy Kitchens Intermediate Hurling Championship: The North Intermediate Final between Borrisokane and Moneygall have postponed to Saturday 4th September.

Junior ‘A’ Hurling Championship: Nenagh Eire Og commenced their Junior ‘A’ campaign with a 5-17 to 3-15 win over Toomevara last Friday in Borrisoleigh. At the same time, Kilruane MacDonaghs and Roscrea played out an exciting draw in Moneygall, 1-16 to 0-19.

Round 3 games will take place on Friday 27th August where Kilruane MacDonaghs will take on Borris-Ileigh and Nenagh Eire Og facing Roscrea.

Junior ‘B’ Hurling Championship: The Watch Centre sponsored North Junior ‘B’ Hurling Championship commenced last weekend.

In Group 1, Silvermines defeated Portroe 2-20 to 0-9 and Lorrha got the better of Burgess 1-21 to 2-14. Silvermines and Lorrha will face off in round 2 in Dolla this Saturday, whilst on Sunday, Newport will travel to Kilcolman to take on Burgess.

In Group 2, Kiladangan edged out Nenagh Eire Og 1-16 to 1-13 whilst the Templederry v Ballina game was postponed and will take place at a later date. Both Round 2 games take place this Saturday; Ballina will be at home to Kiladangan whilst Nenagh Eire Og will host Templederry Kenyons.

In Group 3, Knockshegowna defeated Shannon Rovers 1-12 to 0-8 whilst Borrisokane overcame Moneygall 1-14 to 0-10. Round 2 will take place this Friday, where Borrisokane host neighbours Shannon Rovers whilst Moneygall will travel to Ballingarry to take on Knockshegowna.

Under 19 Hurling: The Under 19 ‘A’hurling final will take place this Wednesday 18th August between Kiladangan and Ballina in Portroe at 6.45 pm.

This is an all-ticket game with no cash accepted at the gate. Tickets available through the competing clubs.

The ‘B’ final between Borrisokane and on Ballinahinch/Templederry has been postponed.
