Civic reception for cyclist Sam

Join Tipperary County Council for a virtual civic reception on Tuesday, November 2, at 7.30pm.

You can access the event at www.facebook.com/tipperarycc, which celebrates and honours Sam Bennett on his outstanding cycling achievements during the 2020 Tour de France.

The Tipp man won two stages and claimed the overall Green Jersey as the most consistent highest finisher, sealing victory in the final stage down the Champs Élysées on September 20, 2020. Sam became only the fifth ever cyclist to win the final stage of the Tour de France and the second Irish cyclist to win the Green Jersey.
