Lorrha musician launches debut CD

A well-known figure on the local entertainment scene, Darran Bourke realised his dream when he launched his first CD just before Christmas.

Due to current Covid regulations, the launch was low key for the popular Lorrha musician. Containing just two songs, ‘Christmas Eve 1914 (A Silent Night)’ and ‘Hey God’, both songs mean a lot to him as he plays with the local church choirs.

Darran played with Tradstone and The Bentley Boys, entertaining all over Ireland and the UK, but now he has decided to go solo, concentrating on church occasions and small parties. We wish Darran the best of luck going forward and hope this is just the beginning of many more CDs to come. Well done, Darran.
