Canoe storage for Dromineer

A planning application has been submitted for a canoe and stand-up paddle-board (SUP) storage platform at Dromineer.

Stephen Fitzgerald of Lough Derg Aqua Splash is seeking permission for the seasonal installation of a timber canoe and SUP storage platform and jetty from May 1 to September 14, which will be installed in conjunction with the permitted inflatable water park and mobile service unit.

A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared and submitted with the application.

Tipperary Co Council is to make a decision on the application by May 26.
