New Tipperary senior hurling manager - Liam Cahill

Cahill named as Tipp's new manager

The management committee of Tipperary GAA met on Monday evening and have agreed to appoint Liam Cahill, Ballingarry, as Tipperary senior hurling manager for a three-year term.

Cahill takes over from Colm Bonnar, who managed the senior hurlers in 2022. Last Friday, Cahill stepped down as Waterford manager and was then put forward for ratification at the next Tipp county board meeting.

Liam first became involved in inter county management in 2007 as a minor hurling selector with Tipperary. In 2019 Liam guided the Tipperary under 20 hurlers to Munster and All Ireland titles in what was the inaugural year of the competition.

Full coverage on Tipp's new manager appear in this week's Nenagh Guardian, which is in the shops on Wednesday.
