‘American Wake’ in Kilbarron

Kilbarron Terryglass Historical Society have rescheduled their ‘American Wake’ event to this coming Friday, August 26, at 8pm in Kilbarron Hall.

Join us to relive our heritage and remember our past, looking at emigration, told through story, music song and dance.

This follows on from a very successful trip down memory lane at Kilgarvan last Saturday. This event was run with the help and support of Kilgarvan Angling Club and the Heritage Boats Association, and also supported by Tipperary Co Council and the Arts Office and Waterways Ireland. The society thanks everyone who helped in any way to make it such a success and a thank you to all who supported us on the day.
