Irish Water want to thank everyone for their patience over the last few days.

Water supply restored in Tipp townland

Irish Water and Tipperary County Council have completed repair works following two bursts that had impacted the water supply for customers in the Coalbrook area over the last number of days. The bursts emptied the reservoir resulting in an outage for homes and businesses in the Coalbrook, Kilbraugh, Gurteen, Ballingarry, Earlshill, Tinnock and surrounding areas in Co Tipperary.

Irish Water’s Colin Cunningham said: “We want to thank everyone for their patience over the last few days while we worked with Tipperary County Council on returning the water supply for everyone.

“Water should now be returned to everyone who was impacted by these two bursts. If any customer is still without water, we would ask them to call our customer care team so we can investigate.”
