Connie Ryan Set Dancing Weekend returns to Nenagh

Club Rince Aonach Urmhumhan is delighted that the weekend is able to go ahead this year after our enforced break.

The weekend is on January 13-15 in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh.

Ger Murphy and Ken Cotter get us underway on Friday night at 9pm. They have a super selection of tunes and a lovely even tempo, possibly the best two-piece band to dance to.

On Saturday, we are privileged to have Pat Murphy, master dance teacher, back with us again for the workshops. They begin at 10am and continue until 5pm with a break for lunch in between. Both workshops are independent, so people can attend one or both.

There is a session in the hotel bar at 7pm to get us in the mood for our next céilí.

The Shandrum Céilí Band is back with us on Saturday night at 9pm. Their joy at playing music is evident in every tune they play, and we love having them play for us.

Pat Murphy will again lead us through the Sunday morning workshop, starting at 11am before the Glenside Céilí Band, bringing us to a close with a céilí at 2.30pm. They always leave us wishing we could dance some more no matter how tired we may be.

We hope to see all of our dancing friends there and to welcome some new ones for a weekend of fun, friendship and great dancing.
