News from Our Lady’s Templemore

Transition Year – Enterprise Awards: Just before Christmas our Transition Year students held the annual Christmas Market in Our Lady’s.

Students got a chance to display their mini companies and show off all the work they have been doing over the last few months. A big thank you to our judges Marie O'Connell from O'Connells Centra, Tina Mulhearne from the Local Enterprise Office and Paul Burke from Tipperary County Council. They had the hard task of picking our category winners and the group to go forward to represent the school at County Finals.

The overall winner on the day was RSN who have create handmade resin jewellery. The group is made up of Adam Tynan O’Connor, Solas Carnicer Stone, Jake Bohan Davern, Kevin Bourke and Gearóid Gaynor.

Christmas Food Appeal: Well done to all of Our Lady’s students who supported the St Vincent de Paul food appeal before Christmas. Thank you to Clara Keegan who received the food donations on behalf of Social Services in Templemore. Clara is pictured here with our John Paul II students in 5th Year who helped coordinate the collection. It is wonderful to see the spirit of Christmas alive and well in Our Lady’s.
