Lorrha & Dorrha Historical Society announces Medieval Conference lineup
Lorrha & Dorrha Historical Society are delighted to confirm their 2023 Medieval Conference for Saturday, July 22, from 9.30am (registration) - 4.30pm at 'The Friar's Tavern', Lorrha, Co Tipperary, E45 V651.
Speakers and topics include: Conleth Manning - Pre-Romanesque Churches in Ireland with reference to Lorrha; Dr John Gillis - Interpretating the physical features of the Fadden More Psalter; Prof Pádraig Ó Macháin -The Digitisation of the Stowe Missal and afterwards; Dr Rory Sherlock - Lackeen Castle, An Irish Tower House; Luke McInerney - O Curas Hominum! From Clare to Prague: The Life and Times of Friar Anthony McBrody.
