Arrest made over thefts from cars

Gardaí in Nenagh have arrested and charged a male over a recent series of thefts from cars reported in the town.

The individual was arrested after gardaí conducted two searches in the town and recovered stolen property from both. The suspect appeared before court in Limerick in last Friday and was remanded in custody.

Meanwhile, gardaí are harvesting CCTV footage as part of their investigation into damage caused to a front door window at Summerhill, Nenagh. A bottle may have been used to crack the window overnight between Friday and Saturday last.

Another criminal damage incident was reported in Cloughjordan in the early hours of Friday last. A male suspect was arrested and charged, and has since been remanded in custody.

In Roscrea, a male was arrested after a woman reportedly had a wallet stolen from her while shopping in the town last Thursday.
