Ten public disorder incidents in Nenagh district

Gardaí responded to 10 public disorder incidents in the Nenagh district in the last two weeks.

Five of these were in Nenagh and five in Roscrea. Gardaí are asking people to please be responsible when consuming alcohol and socialising.

Gardaí have also dealt with six thefts from shops across the district in the last fortnight. A number of prosecutions are pending in relation to these.

Another theft incident occurred at Kilruane where batteries were removed from a mast some time between May 19 and 26.

Also under investigation is the damaging of a car window in Nenagh's Bruach Tailte estate between Tuesday/Wednesday May 16/17. Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

In Roscrea, gardaí are investigating an incident where a man paid money on a well-known sales website and never received the item he ordered. Gardaí would like to remind people to be very wary of who they deal with online.
