Killaloe Coast Guard to the rescue

At 2.10pm on Sunday last, Killaloe Coast Guard unit was tasked to assist a jet-ski with engine difficulty, south of Killaloe.

A boat crew launched from the Pier Head and located the vessel with two persons on board, drifting towards Parteen Weir.

The two persons were taken on board the Coast Guard boat and the jet-ski was taken on tow back to Ballina slipway where it was recovered from the water.
