Wheelchair survey for Nenagh

Cllr Séamie Morris has asked Tipperary Co Council to carry out a survey of Nenagh for wheelchair users.

He told last month's meeting of the council's Nenagh Municipal District that some users have encountered difficulty with certain footpaths and gullies. He suggested that the council work with the Irish Wheelchair Association on the matter.

District Director Marcus O'Connor said the council is working on a local transport plan at present and would welcome input from wheelchair users.
