New housing plan for Nenagh

Tipperary Co Council has received a planning application for the construction of 63 houses in Nenagh.

Limerick developer Pat Cummins is seeking permission to build a range of house types along with four domestic garages at Drummin on the Borrisokane Road. It is understood that six units are to be provided to the council in accordance with Part V of the Planning and Development Act.

Roads, footpaths and green areas also form part of the plan, along with connection to public services and access via the existing Drummin Village estate road network, together with associated site development works.

The application contains a number of reports including a traffic and transport impact assessment, and an engineering report.

The council is considering the application and a decision is due by September 19.
