Snooker’s Gleeson brothers excel again ahead of Nenagh Open

Brothers Mark and Noel Gleeson from Puckane are at present having great success in snooker.

Mark is currently number 1 in Ireland at intermediate level while Noel is number 1 at Under 21 level and is well on his way to qualify for the European Championships to be held in Bosnia-Herzegovina in March 2024. Both brothers will be competing in annual Nenagh Open which takes place in New Institute this weekend.

It promises to be another fantastic event with another incredible lineup of players including Corks Aaron Hill who is having a fantastic run on the professional circuit and is currently in action at the Norther Ireland Open.

Champion Davy Morris will be back to defend his title and will be joined by the likes of Ross Bulman and Nenagh’s own Brendan O’Donoghue in what is now one of the biggest amateur Opens in the country.
