Christmas Jumper Day

On Wednesday, December 13, we held a Christmas jumper day in aid of SVP. A total of €1,000 was raised. Well done to our student council for organising this event. Thank you to everyone for supporting this great casue.

Annual Carol Service

On Friday, December 8, we held our annual carol service, led by Ms O'Meara. Well done to our Music students and readers for a fabulous service.

Senior Hurling

Congratulations to our senior hurlers, who had a convincing 10-point win and now have a Munster Final to look forward to after Christmas.

Think Languages event

What a fantastic week in St Mary’s Newport celebrating Think Languages at the end of November. Our TY MFL student’s engaged in a number of activities including a trip to UL. There were guest speakers and peer teaching where students got to try out their newly acquired language skills in a French Stationery Shop, a German Café and a Spanish Disco.
