Skydive fundraiser for Community Mothers Programme

On Sunday, May 12, six courageous individuals took to the skies for a thrilling tandem skydive, raising a total of €6,220 for the Community Mothers Programme in North Tipperary, and an additional €1,680 as the total cost of their skydives.

The Community Mothers Programme is offered by the Silver Arch Family Resource Centre (FRC), through core funding from Tusla Child & Family Agency, and provides invaluable support to pregnant women, parents of infant and toddler families in six communities within the North Tipperary area. Silver Arch Family Resource Centre would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who generously donated and the community group who organised this fundraising event.

Looking ahead, Silver Arch FRC is excited to announce that the funding is being used towards a family outing to Dublin Zoo and a series of themed workshops requested by parents, set to take place in the coming months.

These workshops aim to further enhance the support provided by the Community Mothers Programme, fostering stronger family bonds and community connections.

Thank you once again for your unwavering support and generosity. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of families in our community, ensuring that we continue to achieve the organisation’s charitable objective of offering “community-based support, information and advocacy services to individuals, families and groups in North Tipperary, so as to empower and help people, particularly those who are most disadvantaged, to access services”.
