Lough Derg Sub Aqua Club

We held our May meeting at the Hibernian Inn in Nenagh last week.

It has been a very busy month for the club with just short of a hundred individual dives logged.

These took place at Killary Fjord, Kilkee, the White Strand and Portroe Dive Centre. We have also been snorkelling every week at Youghal Quay.

Congratulations to the five trainees that received their qualifications as One-Star divers in May. The club was also delighted at being announced during the month among the beneficiaries of the Sports Capital Grant.

This month, we went diving at Kilkee again over the bank holiday weekend. Best of luck to the club's three candidates in the Leading Diving exam day taking place in Cork on June 8.
