OHS field trip to Knigh

The Ormond Historical first field trip of the season is to the townland of Knigh on Monday, June 10 next, starting at 7.30pm (sharp).

The guide is Danny Grace, OHS committee member and local historian. All are welcome to join us on the evening.

The field trip starts at Knigh graveyard, where there is plenty of parking in the graveyard field. Participants are advised to park there as parking on the roadway can be dangerous. We will be walking some short distances between the sites – including a short walk through a grass field to Knigh castle – so participants should have suitable footwear.
