Jetty plan for Dromineer

Waterways Ireland has submitted a planning application for the installation of a new floating jetty in Dromineer harbour.

The planned jetty is to consist of five new finger pontoons along with an adjoining new end jetty in the inner harbour. The plan also includes the relocation of an existing refurbished foul-water pump-out on the existing harbour breakwater to a more accessible and more effective location.

Tipperary Co Council received the planning application last month but has since marked it invalid.
