Watch Centre Junior 'A' Hurling Championship: Kiladangan and Toomevara will face off in the North Final this Friday, 6th September at 6.45pm in Borrisoleigh.

Toomevara will be looking to claim their fourteenth title at the grade (last in 2022) while Kiladangan will be hoping to secure a third North Junior 'A' title (last in 2016).

Watch Centre Junior 'B' Hurling Championship: The first of the semi-finals took place last Saturday in Ballina and it proved to be classic with a last minute Silvermines goal securing a 4-14 to 3-16 victory over Ballina.

Ballina made a strong start with Luke Power, Brian McKeogh, and Ger Sheehy each raising the green flag in the first half as they went into the break with a 3-7 to 0-10 lead. A John Ryan goal for Silvermines in the 33rd minute helped reduce the Ballina lead to three points but Ballina responded well and held a 3-12 to 1-11 lead going into the final quarter. A Willie Keogh goal in the 54th minute gave Silvermines hope as it reduced the deficit to three points. Silvermines continued their momentum with a Paudie Fogarty goal levelling the score two minutes later. Willie Keogh added his second goal two minutes into injury time to give Silvermines the lead - Ballina responded with a point but it wasn't enough as Silvermines held out for victory.

The second semi-final takes place this Saturday, 7th September at 6.00pm when Knockshegowna host Newport in Ballingarry.

Ger Gavin Under 19 Hurling Championship: MacDonagh Park in Nenagh hosted the North Under 19 Hurling Finals on Sunday.

Toomevara claimed back to back 'A' Hurling titles after a pulsating 3-23 to 2-25 extra time victory over a gallant Borris-Ileigh side. Toome captain Cathal Frend accepted the Spike Nolan Cup.

In the 'B' final, Kilruane MacDonaghs had a comfortable 3-22 to 1-10 victory over Newport with MacDonaghs captain Tom Austin accepting the cup.

Under 17 'A' Hurling: The North Final between Toomevara and Kilruane MacDonaghs will take place on Wednesday, 11th September in Puckane.

Under 17 'B' Hurling: The North Final between Portroe and Roscrea will take place this Saturday 7th September at 4.00pm in Borrisokane.

Under 15 'A' Hurling: The semi-finals took place last Thursday where Roscrea had a 2-15 to 2-13 victory over Kilruane MacDonaghs whilst Newport had a comprehensive victory over Nenagh Eire Og.

Under 15 'B' Hurling: The semi-finals took place last Thursday - Ballina had a 3-18 to 1-12 victory over Toomevara whilst Borris-Ileigh had a comprehensive win over Burgess.

Under 13 Finals: Bishop Quinlan Park in Borrisoleigh was a hive of activity last Saturday as it hosted the North Under 13 Hurling Finals. Toomevara claimed the 'A' title after a 1-14 to 1-5 victory over Nenagh Eire Og, Ballinahinch/Templederry were victorious in the 'B' grade after a 3-7 to 1-9 victory over Burgess, Newport claimed the 'C' honours with a 3-3 to 0-4 win over Borrisokane whilst Silvermines had a 3-5 to 3-2 victory over Newport to claim the 'D' title.
