A must-see event: The North Tipperary Artists Collective exhibition opened in Quintin's Way, Nenagh, this Wednesday and will run until next Sunday.

Actor Patrick Bergin to launch exhibition by North Tipperary Artists Collective in Nenagh this Thursday

North Tipperary Artists Collective was founded just over a year ago by a small group of artists with the principal aim of securing a permanent exhibition space to display and sell their work.

At the moment we rely on the goodwill of those who are generous enough to allow us suitable spaces with which to temporarily fullfil this dream.

One such space is in Quintin's Way, a shop unit previously occupied by Name It, who have kindly allowed us to present our current exhibition in this location.

The exhibition was planned to coincide with National Culture Night, which takes place on this Friday, September 20, and which has developed, over the years, into a hugely successful platform for presenting the wealth of talented art forms being pursued across the country.

Our exhibition contains a diverse body of work in multiple media, subject matter and price range.

It presents an excellent opportunity to source something unique for Christmas. The exhibition will run from this Wednesday, Septermber 18 to Sunday next, September 22, from 11am to 6pm daily with late opening on this Friday, Culture Night, until 9pm.

The official launch will be on this Thursday evening, September 19 at 6.30pm at which we are delighted to have legendary actor Patrick Bergin do the honours of opening the exhibition on our behalf. It’s a wonderful opportunity to preview the works and meet the artists, socialise and enjoy the refreshments on offer.

This is an open invitation to all, so we look forward to seeing you on Thursday and throughout the exhibition.
