Tipp's Rachael support for children's charity

Irish National Hunt jockey Rachael Blackmore MBE has announced that she will be representing Cancer Fund for Children as a Charity Ambassador.

Blackmore is excited to help raise awareness for the all-island charity:

“I’m very proud to be an ambassador for Cancer Fund for Children. The charity is dedicated to helping and supporting children, young people and their families who have been affected by cancer. It’s so important that the great services they provide can be made available to as many families as possible at a time when they need it most.”

Cancer Fund for Children provide emotional, social and therapeutic support to children and young people living with cancer, as well as their parents and siblings across the island of Ireland. This support is provided in the hospital, at home, in the community and at the short-break therapeutic centre, Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, Co. Down.

Plans are already underway for a second Daisy Lodge centre to be built in Cong, Co. Mayo, with construction commencing later in the year. Cancer Fund for Children hope to officially open Daisy Lodge, Cong in Spring 2026.
