October exhibition at Nenagh Library

Nenagh Library will be showcasing the work of local artist Edwina Knight during the month of October.

Using oils, acrylics and ink to create her pictures, many of which are inspired by nature and especially water, this is an intriguing mixture of paint and crochet by this talented visual artist.

Having graduated from the Limerick School of Art and Design, with a degree in Fine Art Sculpture and Teaching, Edwina now balances her time between teaching and painting. In the latter arena, she aims to engage the viewer with playful and intense pieces through a semi-abstract perception of the world around her.

Edwina will be having a launch in the library on Tuesday next, October 8, at 6.30pm. It will be launched by Sarah Fogarty, President of Nenagh Chamber of Commerce.
