Hospice coffee morning at Our Lady’s

John Paul II students at Our Lady's Secondary School organised a wonderful Bewley’s Coffee morning with the proceeds going to the Hospice Care at Milford.

They organised it for staff at Our Lady’s and also organised it at the Day Care Centre in Templemore. Students, including musicians, dancers and those that made cakes and coffee, were present at the Day CareCcentre. A thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all. We wish to thank those who made donations to this worthy cause.

Last week our First Year students joined local parishioners to celebrate their opening school year Mass in the Sacred Heart church. It was wonderful to celebrate this new chapter with them.

Thanks to our readers, singers, musicians, those who lit candles and brought up gifts, and to our religion and music department who helped organise it. A special thanks to Fr Dominic, who celebrated our Mass with us.

Transition Year students have enthusiastically commenced their fitness classes for the year, starting with an engaging introduction to gymnastics.
