Citizens encouraged to have their say in Tipperary County Council's plan

Tipperary County Council is inviting all citizens to have their say on the Draft Corporate Plan Framework 2024-2029.

This plan will outline the council’s strategic priorities for the next five years, taking into consideration local needs, current functions, government policy, legislation changes, and available resources.

The Draft Corporate Plan Framework sets out key strategy statements such as Core Values, Vision & Mission Statement, Corporate Goals, and Strategic Objectives.

This framework aims to shape a better future for Tipperary and guide the council in its efforts to enhance the county for all residents, workers, and visitors.

The draft framework plan is available for inspection at council offices in Clonmel, Nenagh, Carrick-on-Suir, Thurles, or Tipperary Town, as well as on the council's website.

Submissions and observations can be made online or in writing to Eamon Lonergan, Director of Services, Corporate Services, Tipperary County Council, by 4.30pm on Friday, October 25.

To assist in the drafting process, feedback was gathered through an online survey during July and August. A total of 83 submissions were received and have been taken into consideration in developing the Draft Corporate Plan Framework.

We encourage all citizens to participate in this public consultation process and help shape the future of our county. For any queries, please contact Corporate Services at 0818 06 5000.
