Prestigious accolade for Nenagh physiotherapy clinic
Gold Standard Physio, a Nenagh-based chartered physiotherapy clinic, was announced as the Irish Sports Injury Clinic of the Year at the Private Healthcare Awards ceremony in Dublin last Thursday evening.
In addition to receiving this prestigious accolade, Gold Standard Physio received Certificates of Distinction in two further categories: Rehabilitation Clinic of the Year and Overall Healthcare Clinic of the Year (where they were the only physiotherapy practice in the country to feature on the shortlist).
After expressing great pride at bringing national success back to Tipperary, Cian McDonnell, Gold Standard Physio’s founding member/Managing Director, said: “It was an incredible privilege for a family-run organisation likes ours to be recognised alongside healthcare providers of the calibre of UPMC, VHI, and the Mater Private Network. We’re so blessed to have the team members we do, all of whom are extremely committed to providing gold-standard care to every patient. We’re also exceptionally grateful to our community of attendees in Tipperary and beyond for their loyal support, which has allowed us to grow and improve our Physiotherapy, Exercise, and Healthcare services year-on-year. The expert judging panel, which was chaired by former Irish Medical Organisation President, Dr Ann Hogan, commented: “Our panel really commend Gold Standard Physio for their steadfast dedication to providing such high-standard, patient-centred services. In particular, their devotion to continuous improvement, their great teamwork and leadership, their obvious passion, and their unwavering commitment to excellence in their chosen field really won us over.”
The popular clinic also received praise for their innovative, expansive and progressive approach, which focuses not only upon removing attendees’ pain, injuries and illnesses but helps them to live healthily and protectively. The practice’s involvement in many different local community initiatives was also commended on the night of the gala event.
