C-Saw Tipperary comes to Nenagh

Official launch this Thursday

The Tipperary based suicide awareness group, C-Saw, has expanded its services to Nenagh.

The organisation, which was founded by Clonmel man Joe Leahy in 2011, provides services to people who may need help by providing support and assistance to those who might be going through a personal crisis.

The organisation also aims to raise awareness within our community about our mental health, and to offer support for those bereaved by suicide. C-Saw’s Charity Number is 20206303.

C-Saw Tipperary - Nenagh will hold coffee evenings on the second and last Thursday of each month from 6.30pm to 8.30pm in the Pastoral Centre, Church Road, Nenagh.

Everyone is welcome to call in to have a chat with our trained volunteers who will offer support, a friendly chat and a free cup of tea or coffee.

The organisation is supported by qualified counsellors who will provide counselling services to anyone who might need it - free of charge.

C-Saw founder Joe Leahy said: “We are delighted to bring C-Saw to Nenagh; we recognise that there is a void in the mental health services that currently exist, but we hope that we can help people in the community through the services that we provide like we have done in Clonmel and Tipperary town.”

OFFICIAL LAUNCH

C-Saw Tipperary will hold an official launch for Nenagh on Thursday, October 17, from 6.30pm at the Pastoral Centre in Church Road. C-Saw extends an invitation to all who wish to attend this event to welcome this new service to Nenagh. We feel it is a huge step forward to complement the existing mental health services within the community.
