Wrestling extravaganza coming to Nenagh

No 1 Live Experience for Families

Get ready Nenagh! The show dubbed the No 1 Live Experience for Families is coming to town as Megaslam Wrestling presents its huge 2024 Live Tour!

Established in 2009, Megaslam presents over 250 Live Events per year across the UK, Ireland and Isle of Man and encourages families to enter a world of fun with their two-hour entertainment spectacular.

An array of talented International stars who have performed in world class venues will be battling it out at the Nenagh Arts Centre on November 8.

“Megaslam is a show like no other. Our shows feature larger than life characters battling it out inside the Megaslam ring, watched on by hundreds of enthusiastic fans - this creates an unforgettable atmosphere and memories for families attending.

“There is something for everyone to enjoy on the show. High flying moves, dominating muscle-bound stars, the Megaslam Ladies and much more.”

Organisers state that you do not necessarily need to be a wrestling fan to enjoy the shows.

“Megaslam is no ordinary wrestling show - it is a complete family entertainment experience.”

There will be local interest on the event as Nenagh theatre technician turned wrestler, Davey Doyle, will be appearing on the bill.

“We first met Davey during the event last year at Nenagh when he worked as a theatre technician. He loved the show that much that he came and trained with us in the UK and then started appearing on events. Davey is doing a fantastic job, appearing across the UK and over in the Isle of Man. However, this will be his first match in Ireland and what a special night it will be in his hometown with his friends and family cheering him on.”

Two teams will be facing off on the night as Team Nasty battle it out with Team Megaslam.

“Team Nasty are the ultimate bad guys (and girls) of the ring - our audiences love to boo them, whereas Team Megaslam are loved everywhere, they dazzle and excite with fast paced moves.

“On the Nasty side will be Captain ‘Miserable’ Martin Kirby and more - whilst on Team Megaslam we have ‘The Maori Warrior’ NIWA from New Zealand who you have to see to truly believe, Wesley from the Gladiators TV show, plus our ladies.”

Matches will include one-on-one challenge, tag team spectacular and a special main event to be announced on the evening.

“We cannot wait to return to Nenagh - the crowd is always incredible there and we look forward to creating more memories.”

Children will be invited to stay behind after the event and get their autographs and photos with the Team Megaslam stars.
