Garda operation in Roscrea

Four males were arrested last Monday as part of an ongoing garda operation targeting criminal activity in Roscrea.

A planned search and arrest operation was conducted by gardaí attached to the Tipperary Crime Functional Area. A number of items were seized.

Those arrested include one male in his teens, two in their 20s and one in his 70s. They were detained at garda stations in County Tipperary and have since appeared before Limerick District Court. They have been charged with various offences, among them charges under the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act, and the Public Order Act.
