Funding boost for Tipp clubs

Deputy Michael Lowry has confirmed that seven Tipperary clubs have been successful in their appeal to the Sports Capital Grant Programme.

These Clubs will receive the following funding;

• BT Harps Templemore: Approved for €357,000, an increase on the previous award.

• Cappawhite GAA Club: €143,168.

• Nenagh Éire Óg GAA Club: €162,000.

• Drom & Inch GAA Club: €146,000.

• Ballinderry Sports Field in conjunction with Shannon Rovers GAA Club: €146,000.

• Moycarkey Coolcroo AC: €59,000.

• Ballycommon – Muintir na Tire Hall: €134,000.

Deputy Lowry said: "Congratulations to all these clubs. I am thrilled to have been able to assist and work with you to secure this vital funding. Your dedication and hard work are truly commendable and I look forward to seeing the positive impact of this funding in our communities."
