Garda appeal over Midlands car crash

Gardaí at Tullamore continue to investigate a single-vehicle collision, involving a car, on the L2007 (Rahan Road) at Ballykeenaghan which occurred at approximately 9am on Thursday, November 14.

The driver of the car, a man aged in his 40s, was seriously injured in the collision and sadly passed away at Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore.

The local coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be arranged.

Gardaí continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward. Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 8:15am and 9:15am are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
