Ballina-Killaloe Christmas Day Swim

For over three decades, the Killaloe Ballina community has come together in a heart-warming tradition, for the Christmas Day Swim.

Held, annually, at The Two Mile Gate, this event has not only been a cornerstone of local camaraderie on Christmas morning, but also of charitable giving, raising thousands of euro for an array of deserving, local organisations. Last year alone, this swim raised an incredible €14,500 for Killaloe Ballina Community and Family Resource Centre!

On December 25, 2024, as we continue the joyous tradition, we are raising funds for two vital entities within our community – the Community First Responders and Killaloe Tidy Towns. Both these groups are absolutely integral to the spirit and functionality of our district and we are so grateful for the essential services that they provide.
