Recent sheep kill

After a small number of sheep were killed by roaming dogs last week in the Rathcabbin area, gardaí are appealing to the public to be extra aware at this time of year and to know where your dog is at all times of the day and night.

If not on a lead and secured at all times, your little household pet can stray and get into bad company, which can lead to devastating consequences in particular for sheep farmers.

Please be aware of the damage that your dog can do and make sure they are secure at all times.
