Lian’s exhibition at Nenagh Library

Lian Knight-Hogan is a local watercolour artist, who is currently exhibiting her work at Nenagh Library. The title of the exhibition is Nádúr agus Teibí (Nature and Abstract).

She has been drawing all her life and now for some years has started painting with watercolours, forever challenging herself to evolve and create unique pieces of art in this beautiful medium.

She has painted country scenes and nature inspires her while in this exhibition she is featuring some abstract paintings.

Lian said: “The more I paint the more I wish to use abstraction to express movement and feeling through my use of colour and shapes in my paintings. Always pushing my boundaries to create what my inner mind is feeling and seeing.”

The exhibition finishes on Friday, February 28.
